A boy believes that everyone in his town is a character from his book of stories (for example, he believes that his teacher is Snow White and that she – and everyone else in that town – doesn’t remember it because of the curse of the evil queen), but so far no one has believed him, including his biological mother Emma, so now he keeps these thoughts to himself to avoid being thought of as insane. However, while sitting in a diner and sad about his teacher being set up for a crime she didn’t commit (by the mayor – the evil queen), he is approached by the town’s newcomer who appears to also believe the same thing that he does.
