The Actor’s Place is as much an acting gym as it is a diverse community of actors, all with the common goal of getting creative and supporting each other.

Who Are We?

We are not your typical acting class. We're a group of experienced actors, who meet regularly with the aim of bettering our craft.

We encourage diversity, creativity and self-expression in our meetups, festivals and community events!

Community Events

TAPFest

TAPFest is a film festival created and curated by actors. Since its inception in 2013, the goal of TAPFest has been to inspire and motivate actors to create films made by actors for actors.

Meetups

In addition to our acting gym meetups, we also offer a number of free events. Join us for a meetup and get acquainted with the TAP community!

TAPShoot

TAPshoot events sre hosted by Brian Bray, a Toronto photographer and videographer specializing in headshots and portraiture. In these TAPshoots, Brian offers economical headshot packages exclusively for TAP members.
